Thank you for considering me to care for your pet!

Amelia Wieber grew up in a very pet friendly environment and she has always had a love for animals. Therefore, when the time came for college she decided to make her studies about animals.

She earned a BA in Animal Behavior from the University of Connecticut in 2005.

Since moving to California Amelia has acquired experience as a veterinarian's assistant, dog trainer, and zoo keeper. Working at an animal hospital is where she discovered her passion to work with people and their pets. Amelia treats all of the pet's she works with as her own, with love and respect.

All dog training is done with positive reinforcement using food rewards and/or praise. If you respect your dog, your dog will respect you! Amelia is always reading up on new animal training techniques that can better the bond between a dog or cat and their human.

Amelia is also a child educator and animal keeper at Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary and a dog obedience class instructor for J9's K9s Dog Training. She is the proud mom of 3 entertaining cats known as Alice, Angie, and Frankie, a very intelligent border collie mix named Cabernet, and a handsome corn snake named Jimmy.
